
On The Menu began with our own cooking school in Goa, India - born of our love of travel to India and great Indian food. We wanted to create an experience that would showcase Indian food the way Indians eat it, in all it's extraordinary richness and regional variety and without a cliche in sight! What's more we set out to do this in a spectacular beachside setting, so that your cooking holiday was just that - a holiday - not just spices, but sun and sand too! It was a runaway success - the only school of its kind in the country and we believe the best!
Our initial clients for 'India on the Menu' asked if we offered similar holidays in other countries and we also began to get numerous requests for other destinations. As a result, we decided to partner with select cooking schools across the world, all of which embodied our ethos - great un-daunting and hands on cooking in lovely locations - with the emphasis on fun. And so, On The Menu was born. In our 6th year of operation, we now partner with over 17 schools in exciting destinations worldwide - each having been carefully chosen both for their quality and character. From Sydney, Marrakech and Mexico to India, Indonesia and Italy you can cook your way with us around the globe!
With On the Menu, we also bring you all the benefits of travel experience from our long established sister company - cultural and adventure tour specialists On The Go Tours. We are also members of ABTA, ATOL and AITO and are committed to high standards and code of practice. Ours is a privately owned company and we can assure you of the service and personal attention that comes with that. Our head office is in London with representation in Australia, Ireland, Canada, South Africa and the United States.
