You should schedule to arrive between 15.00 and 16.30 as the course begins at 17.00 on Day-1. Departure is before noon on the last day. The school is in Mayenne, part of the Pays de la Loire. The closest airport is Rennes which is a 1hr drive. St Malo/Dinard is 2hrs drive, Paris is 3 to 4hrs drive. There is a fast train (TGV) that runs between Rennes and Paris, stopping at Laval train station. If arriving by train, your hosts will arrange to have you met at Laval station. IMPORTANT: If arriving by train we offer a transfer service to and from Laval Train Station, which is available on request; please note we can only pick up clients from Laval on the 15.36 train - (Leaves Paris at 14.00) We can assist with car hire from Rennes or Paris airports if you wish. The property is situated on the outskirts of the village Livre la Touche on the D142 road direction Meral, It is signposted as 'La Hunaudiere' on the right hand side of the road as you are leaving Livre la Touche. Take the first driveway you pass once you have passed the fork in the road - D142 and D227. Follow the driveway down and around to the left and then again to the right. 'La Hunaudiere' is the 2nd house. If you are driving from Paris, you can find detailed maps from on-line route planners, such as Mappy. Some of the route planners will not pick up the village of Livre la Touche because it is so small, so use Cosse le Vivien as the destination. The directions from Cosse le Vivien to the Walnut Grove are below: From Cosse le Vivien continue on the N171 (signposted to Craon and St Nazaire), take the first turning on the right signposted to Ballots, D153. Continue on this for about 5miles, take D142 (about the 3rd road on the left) signposted to Livre la Touche. Follow this for about 4miles. The Walnut Grove is a driveway on the left just as you approach the village of Livre, with the name La Hunaudiere (name of the property) clearly signposted. Follow the driveway down, turn to the left; it is the second house.
