When to go to Poros, Greece
The island of Poros enjoys a typical Mediterranean climate. During April, May and June, the island is very tranquil, with warm days and mild evenings. Poros is a popular location with many Greek people during July and August. In peak summer months the island population increases significantly, although Askeli still remains relatively peaceful, it can be very warm both day and night particularly during August. September is an ideal month for those who prefer quieter times; slightly cooler than August, but with warm seas it is one of the best months to visit Poros. October through to December can see the some wet spells but generally the weather is still warm and mild with average temperature in October around 23C.
