The course includes three self-contained modules that will appeal to novice and experienced cooks alike. In each module, the dedicated school chef works interactively with a maximum of ten participants. The cooking school is open Monday to Friday from 10.00 am to 1 pm, with different aspects of Indonesian food covered on specific days.

Monday
After a market tour with the chef at 8.00 am the cooking session will begin back at the hotel at 10.00 am. There will be an introduction to local produce with the preparation of three Balinese dishes – all to be enjoyed at lunchtime. You may make Balinese chicken satay, grilled red snapper wrapped in banana leaf and Balinese pumpkin treat. |

Wednesday
As the name suggests today’s cooking is vital and healthy but delicious all the same. You’ll be introduced to the taste and health benefits of Balinese jamu, the locally prepared elixirs with a ginger base. This is followed by the preparation of tasty and health-conscious food with a creative flair. |

Friday
Today's class begins with an optional market tour at 8.00 am. Participants will ten gather in the cooking school kitchen at 10.00 am to prepare and enjoy an Asian lunch. |

The courses are available all year round and may be started on any day of the week on request.
