The nearest airport is Florence 80 km (about an hour's drive) away. There are regular, national and international flights into Florence.

Car hire is recommended for this holiday as the Villa is located in a remote area and this will ensure you can tour and independently explore the lovely surrounding of this area. We can assist you with car hire from Florence airport if you wish. If you prefer not to drive we can arrange transfers to the villa for you at the following rates:
Florence Airport - Euro 150 each way.
Pisa Airport - Euro 260 each way

You can also travel by train directly from Florence to Arezzo (from Pisa take the train to Florence then on to Arezzo). You should book the fast train from Florence which takes approximately 1 hour. Then from Arezzo train station you can take a taxi to Torre del Tartufo which is 20-30 minutes away (Taxi cost approx. 35 Euro).

You should schedule to arrive at the villa after 4pm on the Sunday. Departure is after breakfast the following Sunday.

DIRECTIONS FROM FLORENCE

From Florence take the A1 direction Rome. Take the turn off at Arezzo. Follow the signs to Arezzo and 8 km from the toll station take the turn-off to Bibbiena. From this point you follow the signs to Bibbiena around two traffic circles and on to the SS71 road to Bibbiena/Casentino. About 7 km North of Arezzo take the Borgo e Giovi/Ponte alle Chiassa/Anghiari turn-off and then turn on to the SP43 direction Anghiari. From the turn-off go past Chiassa Superiore and Ca’ di Buffa to Chiaveretto (about 6 km). At the end of the village do not follow the road to Anghiari across the bridge but carry straight on along the gravel road for about 2 km when you will see a white house on the right. From here follow the signs to Torre del Tartufo by turning right up the hill and carrying on up the hill keeping right at the intersections until after about 2 km you reach Torre del Tartufo.
