Central Portugal is a year round destination and our culinary breaks are available throughout the year. The best time to visit is from April to June and September to the first half of October when it is pleasantly warm and dry. July and August are very hot - daytime temperatures are often above 30ºC. At night though the temperature drops to around 18-20ºC. In the winter months December to February, the average daily highs are around 16ºC (61ºF) with rainfall from October to March.
