The holidays in El Priorat run all year.
In spring the weather is mild and flowers start to bloom. Cherries start to ripen and it is a beautiful time for walks. The mulberry tree covers the patio again with its shade and this makes for great outdoor barbecues.
Summer in El Priorat can be very hot, but unlike Barcelona, it is quite dry. This is a nice time of year because of the figs, peaches, berries, and of course the grapes which are harvested in September.
Autumn is quite mild, as the summer heat wears off, and so it is quite comfortable until roughly the end of October.
Winter can be cold, and temperatures at the end of December, January and February tend to be just above freezing at night and about 5 degrees C to 10 degrees C during the day. Near the end of November and through December is the olive harvest, so it is a busy period in the Priorat. It is very nice with the two fireplaces burning.
