Chiang Mai is easily accessible from Bangkok International Airport, with numerous flights departing daily. The flight time from Bangkok is 55 minutes. There are also several direct flights to Chiang Mai from Singapore. British Airways, Qantas or Thai Airways all offer direct services from London Heathrow into Bangkok . There are a host of other airlines that also fly to Bangkok: Emirates (via Dubai), Air France (via Paris), Lufthansa (via Frankfurt). Connections to Chiang mail will then be via either Thai airways(domestic) or Bangkok Airways. Depending on flight times this could involve an overnight in Bangkok. You will be met upon arrival at Chiang Mai airport and driven to the hotel (about half an hour's drive).
