A week on Koh Lanta island
Day 1 Arrival at Krabi Airport and transfer to the hotel.
Day 2 Start your holiday with some relaxing time at the hotel swimming followed by a cooking session on the beach in the late afternoon for some exciting Thai fusion cooking, ready in time for sunset!

Timings:
Pick up time will be 15.20 in the lobby of your hotel for the afternoon cooking session. Get ready to learn about the fabulous Thai ingredients. The Cooking lesson will start with 1.5hr thorough introduction to local herbs and sauces with tasting and smelling sessions. Enjoy dinner of what you've prepared during your cooking session whilst watching the magnificent sunset. The cooking session ends around 21.00 and transport will be arranged back to the hotel whenever you are ready to return.
Day 3 You have the entire day free to explore, swim, try out the restaurants or just do nothing at all
Day 4 In your cooking session today you might be making crispy spring rolls, spicy prawn soup and snapper with herbs, continuing through to the evening. Enjoy the food and meet other food enthusiasts.

Timings:
15.20 Pickup in the Layana hotel lobby. The cooking Session follows and ends around 21.00 - transport will be arranged back to the hotel whenever you are ready to return.
Day 5 Another day completely free to explore the island or relax
Day 6 You have the day free, and your cooking session today starts at 16.00 and continues till 21.00. You'll be making delicious three flavoured fish, spicy salads and thai noodles. A very social and fun session.

Timings:
15:20 Pick up in the Layana hotel lobby. The cooking session and dinner will run through until apprx. 21.00 with transport back to Layana after.
Day 7 Your last cooking session, where you'll learn how to make an authentic green curry paste from scratch, together with delicious fish steamed with lime and herbs, fried rice and a green curry dish. The class is followed by a beachside meal of what you've prepared while you watch the sun go down

15.20 Pickup in the hotel lobby. The cooking session follows and ends around 21.00 - transport will be arranged back to the hotel whenever you are ready to return. Enjoy some tasty Mojitos at the bar!
Day 8 Time to depart or if you'd like to stay an extra week to just to relax we can arrange that for you!
Dates South Thailand has a definite season from the beginning of November though to the end of May and any of these months are a good time to go. The peak months are December to March, which also tend to have the best weather.

The courses run weekly on a Saturday to Saturday basis

NOTE: please note that non-cooking companions are welcome to arrive at the cooking school around 19:15 on their own and they will receive a transfer back to the hotel at the end of the evening. Non-cooking companions are not allowed to join the class but are invited to eat around 19:30 and 20:45 with the cooking group. A fee of THB 480 (approx GBP10) is to be paid directly to the cooking school.
